Mindle Pvt Limited ("we", "us", or "our") is dedicated to protecting your privacy and personal data. This Privacy Policy details how the GitaConnect mobile application ("the App") handles information collected from you in accordance with Apple's App Store Review Guidelines.

1. Information We Collect

We believe in minimal data collection and user autonomy. The types of information handled include:

• Account Information: When you choose to sign in via Email One-Time Password (OTP) or Google Sign-In, we store your email address and optional display name to maintain cross-device sync. You may also use the app as a guest without creating an account.
• Local & Synced Usage Data: Your reading progress, bookmarked shlokas, daily mood check-ins, and jaap counts are saved locally on your device (using local storage/UserDefaults). If you are signed in, this data is synchronized to our secure cloud database so you do not lose your spiritual journey across devices.
• Voice & Speech Input: Voice queries spoken to the Gita AI Mentor are processed directly on your device using Apple's secure SFSpeechRecognizer framework. We do not record, transmit, or store your raw voice audio recordings.

2. Third-Party Services & AI Processing

GitaConnect integrates specialized technical services to deliver our spiritual experience:

• Gita AI Mentor & Translations: Spiritual questions and translation requests are processed using secure serverless edge functions powered by enterprise AI models (including Google Gemini and Sarvam AI Indic language models). Transmissions are strictly encrypted via TLS/HTTPS. User prompts are not used to train public foundation models, nor are they used for advertising or user profiling.
• Backend & Authentication: Handled securely via Supabase (PostgreSQL with Row Level Security, hosted with industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest).
• Zero Third-Party Ads or Trackers: GitaConnect contains no third-party advertising SDKs, tracking pixels, or data brokerage analytics. We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

3. Children's Privacy (Family-Friendly)

GitaConnect is a family-friendly spiritual and educational app suitable for general audiences and rated 4+ on the Apple App Store. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without verified parental consent, nor do we perform behavioral targeting, commercial profiling, or advertising.

4. Data Retention & Account Deletion (Apple Guideline 5.1.1(v))

We respect your right to access, manage, and permanently erase your personal data at any time:

• Local Cache Clearing: You can wipe all locally stored preferences, cached shlokas, and temporary session data at any time by tapping Logout within the Profile tab.
• Permanent Account & Cloud Data Deletion: If you created an account and wish to permanently delete your profile, email address, synced jaap counts, and bookmarks from our servers, you may request deletion at any time.

5. Data Security

We implement administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, destruction, or disclosure. All communication between the app and our servers occurs over encrypted HTTPS/TLS channels.

6. Policy Updates

We may periodically update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or applicable laws. Any modifications will be posted directly to this URL with an updated "Last Updated" timestamp.
